Clayton is a staunch old Martinian and a famous supporter of the Old Martinians Association in Perth. He has been for some time the editor of the OMA Newsletter which became the model for many old school magazines. Indeed it was my inspiration when I first embarked upon the OMA UK newsletter and magazine. Clayton has been long renowned for the archives of La Martiniere information and letters which he has collected over the years. His collection is meticulously recorded and annotated. I am very fortunate that he has allowed me to use some of his collection to put before you. This will be a regular feature. You will note that there will be articles to include the Calcutta and Lucknow schools, boys and girls.
